Is Timeslips 2017 Running Slowly?

Is Timeslips 2017 running slowly?  If so, please read this and forward to your IT firm.

Recently I was made aware of how much your anti-virus can slow down Timeslips. In addition to excluding the file timeslip.exe from your anti-virus scan, Sage is recommending that your IT person also exclude the Firebird service from anti-virus.

In summary, please make sure that your firm’s anti-virus scanner excludes:
1. The file timeslip.exe from the local drive
2. The file timeslip.exe from the server
3. The firebird service
